Responsibilities:
Provides technical expertise and problem-solving skills to attain desired results. Contributes expertise, problem solving and analysis to project teams and group throughout the organization. Develops project design, selects and procures materials, and manages the activities of plant and contractor personnel. Recommends and implements upgrades to systems and equipment throughout the facility. Initiates tactical investigations and studies activities with in-house resources and external contributors. Guides project activities utilizing necessary support resources. Plans the transition process of new manufacturing systems into the manufacturing environment. Documents critical aspects of project details and events. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Position acts in a lead or senior capacity over others performing essentially the same work. Skill/Educational Requirements:
Work is basically non-standardized and widely varied, involving many complex and significant variables. Analytic ability and inductive thinking are required to devise new methods in situations where previously accepted methods have proven inadequate. Position requires team leadership and economic analysis, innovative methods for achieving cost reductions, justifying capital expenditures, etc. Must combine problem-solving techniques with innovation for best solutions. Must be able to look at the big picture as well as the details. This type of analysis and decision-making is needed daily. Position requires 6-8 years or more of engineering experience. Knowledge of PLC programming, installation, and startup. Sound knowledge of variable frequency drive installations and commissioning. Four-year Engineering degree required or equivalent.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
