Position Description Vice-President, Blue Oval City TCAT Campus Exempt/VP 4A, Pay Grade 112.
Reports to:
TCAT Jackson President Position Summary Provide effective leadership and direction to all Blue Oval City workforce development project elements with reporting responsibilities to the President of TCAT Jackson.
Duties to include:
Creation of Workforce Plan and Recruitment Strategy in Coordination with Ford and BOSK TCAT Construction - Facility, Equipment, Curriculum, and Staffing Development of Workforce Pipeline Development - K-12, Adult Education, Postsecondary Workforce Recruitment - Military, Public Workforce Analytics Coordination of Workforce and Community Engagement Development of Customized Training Models Interpret relevant TBR, THEC, and COE policies; ensure that resources are adequate and appropriate to meet the mission of the BlueOval City TCAT campus.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for Ford and BOSK, and our education partners regarding education/training at the BlueOval City campus.
Work with faculty and staff to implement strategic goals and objectives for the campus; coordinate short and long-range planning efforts; work with program advisory committees; initiate/support and supervise development and review of curriculum and programs; maintain standards appropriate for program accreditation; ensure the adequacy of program review for relevant accrediting bodies.
Promote economic and workforce development initiatives; foster business and industry relationships; working within TBR and TCAT policies and guidelines; recruit faculty and staff; supervise, evaluate faculty and staff; recommend retention or dismissal as appropriate for faculty and staff; ensure proper support to full and part-time faculty; encourage and support faculty/staff development.
Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines; ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources (fiscal, human, operations).
In collaboration with the President and relevant staff, oversee campus physical facilities; ordering of textbooks and other tasks associated with the delivery of instruction; respond to faculty and student concerns; represent the BlueOval City campus and the College to the general public; and participate in community initiatives as appropriate.
Manage the development and execution of special projects as assigned; promote and practice collegial relationships; identify, recommend, and implement student recruitment and retention initiatives as appropriate; advise the President on potential innovative pathways to greater institutional efficiency and effectiveness; perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Master's Degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution.
Work
Experience:
five years of combined administrative experience in higher education and industry.
Preferred Qualifications Developing and managing apprenticeship programs; developing and managing dual-enrollment technical programs; and postsecondary teaching experience in a technical/trade field.
