Our client is currently seeking a Safety Specialist.
A growing food company located in Brownsville, TN is currently searching for an Safety Specialist.
The Safety Specialist is responsible aiding the overall Plant employee safety including safety training and tracking, policy adherence, key member of incident analysis, audit and incident follow-up tracking and trending, OSHA Compliance, Safety Observation tracking.
The Safety Specialist position is also responsible for aiding Supervisors and Managers in all aspects of employee training, and management accountability tracking.
The position is a key member of the Plant Team focused on manufacturing's key performance measures of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

-Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety or related discipline REQUIRED-Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in safety in a food production plant REQUIRED-Passion towards driving continuous improvement in the areas of Safety REQUIRED-Solid, current understanding of Federal and State OSHA and compliance requirements and enforcement processes REQUIRED-Demonstrated ability to develop and direct pro-active safety programs REQUIREDIf you are interested in this position, please send me your latest resume to email removed .
