Maintenance Mechanic
supporting our manufacturing operation in Brownsville, TN. In this role you will be responsible for installation, service and repair of all equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, compressors, conveyors, blowers, dust collectors, fans, filters, heat exchangers, tanks, valves, gearboxes, extruders and other production equipment. Service, replace and repair hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical devices. You will be responsible for performing the following duties:

  • Install, maintain and repair piping systems.
  • Perform equipment PMs and complete work order documentation.
  • Have general knowledge of boiler room/facilities equipment such as boilers, pumps, de-aerator, control room, air compressors, chiller, dryers, pneumatic controls, valves & HVAC.
  • Operate maintenance shop equipment.
  • Read & interpret documentation such as drawings, manuals and technical bulletins.
  • Use electrical tester to safely check power, fuses, breakers and switches.
  • Operate a forklift, scissor lift and jenny boom.
  • Plan and organize individual work.
  • Install service and repair all equipment in a timely manner.
  • Have and maintain proper hand tools.
  • Maintain good housekeeping throughout plant and shop.
  • Understand and follow all safety procedures.
  • Other duties and related responsibilities as required

Qualifications & Competencies

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 1-3 years practical experience in related fields.
  • Be able to lift thirty pounds over their head at least 4 times in 8 hours.
  • Be able to climb and work from Ladder.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
